Silent Star Wars

What if Star Wars was done a long time ago, like say the 1920's, in a galaxy far far away, like 1920's Hollywood? Then maybe it would have been done like a silent film. Would Charlie Chaplin have played the Emperor? I think so!

Acupuncture!

Interesting twist on this commercial...

James Earl Vader

What happens when they take James Earl Jones' sound bites from some of his other movies and play them over Darth Vader in Star Wars? Magic!

Beam Scotty Up, Scotty

So what would Star Trek be like if everybody in the show was Scotty?

I Can Make Everyone You Love Disappear Forever

I've already posted a few commercials, but this one really made me laugh today. That deer is so cute! Wait. What did it say?

Foot Odour

This guy has a problem. Can you guess what it is?

Car Commercials

Car Technology has advanced quite a bit in the last few years. The Hemi has returned, we have non-lethal (usually) airbags, and more horsepower available than ever! So lets look back at some commercials for the cars from days gone by...

First off is this Sheriff who had his Hummer H2 pimped out with a supercharged 7.0L V8 and 28" rims! Try to outrun him Smokey!

Up Next, Black Gold! The performance automobile for the man with a huge bushy moustache!

Then there is this commercial for Oldsmobile:

When the rock music starts but the car is still driving in a straight line I couldn't stop laughing.

But wait... why is this next Oldsmobile ad from the same year featuring a "professional accountant" as their stunt driver? Can he handle the V8 power and 4 by 4 suspension? But hey, its his money.

Now this is a REAL car! The 1970 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 with a 455 4bbl, air scoops, Hurst shifter! Its certainly not the "same ol' bag of notes"!

All Blog and No Play...

Friends sent me some alternate movie trailers. Imagine if these movies were made just a little bit differently:

The Shining

Mary Poppins

Tony vs Paul

Probably one of the coolest fight videos ever done! I <3 stop action!

Tenacious Exploder!

Tenacious D is going to be the new Spinal Tap, and why not? They're awesome! Except I don't think Jack Black's drummer has ever exploded.
